Four Seasons Hotels plans new property at The Pearl-Qatar

According to a report from Al-Bawaba, the Four Seasons Hotels plans to open a new property at The Pearl-Qatar in Qatar.

The new property will feature 350 hotel rooms and will cater to the luxury market. It will be located in the Porto Arabia district.

This new property will be the Four Seasons’ second in Qatar, which puts Qatar on a special list of the few countries with multiple Four Seasons properties.

United Development Company is the owner and developer of the Pearl-Qatar project.

“Today’s announcement is only the beginning of many more major partnerships to be revealed in the coming months,” said Khlil Sholy, managing director of United Development Company.

The island will eventually be home to over 2 million square feet of retail and commercial facilities, Sholy said.

The Pearl-Qatar is located off the eastern shore of Qatar and spans 985 acres. It’s Qatar’s first international real estate venture.

The Pearl-Qatar offers upscale Riviera-style living. It’s expected to be the eventual home to 42,000 residents.
